PETA: Once Again Trying To Disrupt Northern Economies
No longer happy simply targeting seal hunters and increasing the financial hardship that many Inuit already experience, PETA is now expanding its anti-sealing program to disrupt the economic benefits Inuit receive from the tourism industry.

Not only do many Inuit depend on tourism and related industries for their livelihoods, it is one of the best ways for us to promote our unique lifestyle and culture.
The campaign, like others from the organization, engages in wilful dishonesty.

Do you know that Canada outlawed hunting white coat seals over 30 years ago? PETA certainly hopes you don't. The facts are very simple. Regardless of what PETA tries to tell you, all scientific studies agree that the hunt is sustainable and humane.
