Inuit Business Directory

The Inuit Business Directory (IBD) is a listing of all the Inuit businesses in Canada.

Using the Directory

1. Sorting and Searching: At the top of each page of the directory is a form for searching and/or sorting by region and/or business category
   • leaving the form blank will display all results in the directory
   • you can select one option or use combinations.
     (i.e. 'training' in the search field + 'Nunavut Business' in the Region field + 'travel and tourism' in the category field will display all businesses in Nunavut that provide training in the Travel and Tourism industry.)
2. Categories and Communities: If a commuity or category appears as a link, you can select it to see a list of all businesses in the specified community or category.

The Inuit Business Directory is provided as a convenience.

The official sources of registered Inuit businesses are:

• the IRC Business Directory in the Inuvialuit region
• the Inuit Firm Registry in Nunavut
• and the Nunatsiavut Business Centre
• For businesses registered in Nunavik, contact the Makivik Corporation
