National Inuit Leader Mary Simon to Attend European Development Days in Stockholm

ITK President Mary Simon will be attending the European Development Days conference in Stockholm Sweden from October 22-24, 2009.

Ms. Simon will be presenting “My Homeland is Melting” during a panel on October 24, 2009 called, “Climate Change is Now – Are We Listening?” The focus of the panel is to hear the testimony of representatives from communities already impacted by the effects of climate change.
