Media Advisory * ITK Annual General Meeting

The ITK Annual General Meeting will take place from 9:00am – 5:00 pm on Thursday June 24, 2010 in the Baffin Room of the Frobisher Inn, Iqaluit, Nunavut.

As the Inuit Circumpolar Council (ICC) General Assembly takes place immediately following the ITK AGM, there will be discussions and strategies for the upcoming meeting in Nuuk Greenland. National Inuit Leader Mary Simon, ITK President, will chair the meeting.

Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami is the national Inuit Association, representing 55,000 Inuit in four Arctic regions - Nunatsiavut (Labrador), Nunavik (northern Quebec), Nunavut, and the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (Northwest Territories).
