Beverly Amos

Beverly Siliuyaq Amos was born in Tuktuuyaqtuuq and grew up in Sachs Harbour, Northwest Territories. She was raised to speak the Inuvialuktun language and has become an advocate for aboriginal languages. “Knowing my language makes me strong for the future and keeps me connected to my past.”
