Inuit From Great Whale River & Cape Dorest Attend Exhibition in London

On September 30, 1972, Davidee Kagvik from Great Whale River and Iyola Kinguasiak from Cape Dorset left Ottawa for London, England to represent their artwork at an exhibition held at the Museum of Mankind. The artists were escorted by Murray Petrie from the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs with William Tagoona acting as their translator/interpreter for the trip.
