Jim Lyall

Jim Lyall was born at Nutak, in Northern Labrador, in 1945. At the age of 11, he and his family were forced to move to Nain as part of the provincial government's resettlement program. He has served as Postmaster and Mayor of Nain, and Executive Director of the Labrador Inuit Association. He was named President of the Nunatsiavut Government in 2008.
