Mary Simon Sworn in as ITK President for Second Term

On June 10, 2009, at a community feast in Nain, Nunatsiavut (Labrador), Mary Simon was sworn in for a second three-year term as President of Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami (ITK).

After running uncontested Mary Simon was acclaimed as President following the Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami Annual General Meeting held in Nain. The Oath of Office was administered by Henry Lyall, Justice of the Peace, at a community feast.

Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami also released its 2008-2009 Annual Report and is pleased to make it available on-line.
