Shelagh Grant

Shelagh Grant is the author of Polar Imperative: A History of Arctic Sovereignty in North America (2010), Arctic Justice: On Trial for Murder, Pond Inlet – 1923 (2002), and Sovereignty or Security? (1988), about government policy in the Canadian North during the war and post-war years. She is an adjunct professor in the Canadian Studies Program at Trent University, now retired from regular teaching.
