Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation’s Jane Glassco Arctic Fellowship Program

Mary Simon joins 13 recipients of the Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation’s Jane Glassco Arctic Fellowship Program in Becheko, NWT. The purpose of the program is to recognize and support talented Northerners in the early stages of their careers, as they deepen their understanding of an important issue facing the North and develop policy ideas to help address it.

The two-year program of both self-directed and collective research will enable fellows to better articulate and share their work and create a dialogue to bring about a healthier, more self-reliant and sustainable North. Mary served as an advisor to the fellows during their first face-to-face meeting last weekend.
