September 19, 2016 — Each year, ITK works with ArcticNet to ensure that Inuit are well represented at ArcticNet’s Annual Scientific Meeting. We bring Inuit research priorities to the forefront and ensure that we continue working together towards Inuit self-determination in research, one of ITK’s strategic objectives. This year’s ASM is being held in Winnipeg from December 5-9. We are currently seeking nominations to support Inuit engagement in this annual learning and networking opportunity.

INUIT RECOGNITION AWARD – DEADLINE EXTENDED
The award recognizes Inuit who are meaningfully involved in Arctic research.

Nominators
• Any individual or organization may nominate someone for this award

Recipients
• Must be Inuk and age 21 or older
• Must have led or assisted with a research project
• Must be available to attend the ArcticNet ASM December 5-9
