The Nunatsiavut Food Security Summit is taking place on Thursday June 23rd, 2016 in Nain, Nunatsiavut. The summit will bring together food security leaders, decision makers, and stakeholders to reflect on the work accomplished through NiKigijavut Nunatsiavutinni: Our Food in Nunatsiavut Project. Discussions will also focus on the food security challenges and opportunities in Nunatsiavut to develop a plan to improve food security in the region. The NiKigijavut Nunatsiavutinni Project is led by Food First Newfoundland and Labrador in close collaboration with the Nunatsiavut Government and Trent University.
