Through the NISPS funding, the Community Development Division of IRC was able to enhance the overall work of the division by filling in some service gaps, piloting new initiatives and allowing the flexibility within the funding to be community driven.

This project had three objectives: (1) provide an opportunity for children in the ISR to engage in meaningful programming that encourages healthy living and learning; (2) support parents to create safe spaces for children, and homes free from violence; and (3) promote resilience through early childhood development programs.
