Justin Trudeau has arrived in Iqaluit for his first visit to the Arctic as prime minister. Trudeau began his two-day visit to the region with a meeting with Canada’s national Inuit organization. (The Canadian Press ) IQALUIT, NUNAVUT-The federal government pledged Thursday to take steps to address the painful historical memories of Inuit who experienced relocations and mistreatment in the tuberculosis epidemic of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
